Competition time

The season is almost over. We started with a wonderful first place in Drevenack this year. After that, we had some problems in the ring as Casi - without any reason- started playing with his tongue. It took us ages to get that away - especially because it only happened during our tests. we changed bits and started to school him more on double bridle which seemed to help at first, but then it started to get worse. We got back to basic. two weeks only hacking and jogging on a long rein. After that it was better. We started training more and the tongue became less and less of a problem. Last weekend, he was pretty tense in the arena and the tongue was showing for a second again, but on Sunday he was much better and we got back with a third place at M* - Level, placed directly behind my trainer. This year was seriously with some more up and downs. In training, he developed amazingly. Unfortunately, I am still not able to ride that on competitions when he is not that supple. 

All in all, I'm still happy with our competition year as we managed to get LK3 in dressage, even though we had so many problems during our season.
